Sandy's going horseback riding!

Hi everyone,

Yes, she's going horseback riding! This Monday from 1-4 they're taking some of the patients horseback riding and since Sandy is now able to sit up and balance herself so that she doesn't fall, she gets to go. She'll have a physical therapist on both sides of her holding on to her legs to make sure she is 100% safe.

  5. Sandy,
Here's a blast from your past first year friend from Haunt. Caught up with others at Faire. Wade was kind to give me this info. Will do my best to stop in and see you.

  6. Me, Lisa, Paul, Elaine, & Rob went to visit Sandy last night. We got there around 6...and got kicked out when we stayed past visiting hours. We were only going to stay for a bit, but ended up having such a wonderful time that 2.5 hours just flew by. Sandy looked SO good, & was chatty, smiling, & laughing. It lifted our hearts. So wonderful to see her doing so much better. She really loved the horse therapy, & was sad to see our silly bunch leave...though her roommate was probably glad. ;-p

PS. Tawnda, I just noticed that the t-shirt is written as Sandy T-SHIT Fundraiser instead of T-SHIRT. That gave me a little giggle. :-)

  7. Thanks for letting me know about the mis-spelling. It made me giggle too. By the way, Sandy had a great time with all of you. I asked her how the visit went and she got a big smile on her face and couldn't stop talking about it. You all are great friends.

  9. YES! We had a ton of fun visiting with Sandy on Monday. I can't wait to go back and visit again.
She looks great and is doing so well. During our visit she lifted her left arm and leg to show us what she does during therapy.
    See is too cute!
